Volunteer work

So my mother's friend, Rada, emailed my mom the other day letting her know that there is a position available in the CKE community board, and that they were looking for a communications director. She said this position would be the perfect opportunity for me to gain some experience and get to know my community, seeing as how we had just moved...Although I am in school and have a job, I may take on the role!

Happy Mothers Day

I love my mom! Today my family will be golfing at Willow Park. I asked my mom if she wanted anything for Mother's Day, and she said no. We will be getting her roses and a card. I was going to take my mom for Korean food at Kimchi House; however, they are closed on Sundays. So we are debating between the Willow Park Golf and Country Club or Chianti's Italian Restaurant. I think my mom is leaning towards Chianti's. I am so blessed to have the most wonderful mother.

Hello everyone!

This is my first blog post. I've always wanted to start a blog, but considering that I am a Virgo and I am quite superstitious...I do believe that I am a perfectionist and have a minor case of OCD. I have attempted to complete diaries throughout my entire life; however, I found myself ripping out the pages in dissatisfaction. The same thing goes with blogs that I have started, but never kept. I was inspired by seeing so many marvellous fashion blogs out there, and I decided I would give it another go, myself. It is currently almost 2:00AM here, and my eyes are starting to droop a bit. Life has been quite a roller coaster lately...I am at the edge of finishing my degree, so there has been quite a bit going on for me. Things are beginning to clear up :) Today consisted of mainly working, and the rest of my summer will probably be the same way. I am hoping to go on vacation this summer and fill summer 2012 with amazing memories and fun, before University starts again. I have also been exercising consistently, which gives me a feeling of accomplishment every time I finish a work out. I've been eating healthier as well. A quote that I adore is one that I'm sure you've heard numerous times, but it never ceases to push me: "Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever."

Well, I should probably get some shut-eye. Nighty night world. Sweet dreams and take care. MWA <3
